Calculating square feet

A measuring tape is needed.

001

Break down the area into manageable parts. You can split up the space into individual squares or rectangles then add them all together to figure out the total square feet of the entire room.

002

After breaking up the room, measure the length and width of each space you’ve created. We can then multiply the length and the width to get the square footage of each space.

Example for space A: 20’x12’=240 sq. ft.
Example for space B: 16’x10’=160 sq. ft.

003

We can now add the square footage of each space to give us our total square footage of the room.

Ex: 240+160.= 400 total square feet.

To calculate the costs per room, simply multiply the total square feet by our $26 build price.

By-The-Room Straightforward Price:
$10,400  –  (400 sq.ft. x $26)
